JUDO

Finnish judo has a long Olympic history: Finnish competitors have taken part in every Olympic judo tournament since Munich

1972. The best results so far have been two seventh places, achieved by Reino Fagerlund in 1980 and Juha Salonen in 1988.

Weight class: 60 kg

Juho Reinvall will represent Finland in Rio 2016 after qualifying through the European continental ranking list. Juho

has dominated men’s lowest weight class in Finland for the past Olympiad. His best international achievements are

victory in the Swiss Open tournament in 2009 and fifth place in the World Cup event in Tallinn in 2011. Juho studies

for a degree in automation science at Tampere University of Technology.
