Class: RS:X

Tuuli Petäjä won Olympic silver in Weymouth 2012, which was Finland’s best result at the London Games in any

sport. She was duly voted Finnish Athlete of the Year 2012. Afterwards Tuuli got married and gave birth to a

daughter in 2013. In the following year she returned to the sailboarding circuit, finishing seventh at the European

Championships of 2014. Tuuli studies for a degree in architecture at Aalto University in Helsinki. In her junior years

she used to play ice hockey at lower league levels.
