back more than a century. Two years later Antti enhanced his credentials by winning the European Championship
title in Zurich. In July 2016 he took bronze at the European Championships in Amsterdam after a mild injury forced
him to forfeit his last two throws. Antti has been a remarkably consistent competitor: he has qualified for the
final in all his six previous major championships. Antti is a qualified electrician and also holds a sports instructor’s
degree. His favourite hobbies are hunting and fishing.
