Minna Nikkanen has already made a long career in pole vaulting. She won gold at the European Junior
Championships of 2007 at Hengelo, Netherlands. At senior level her best results so far are fourth place at the
European Indoor Championships of 2011 in Paris and tenth place at the 2015 World Championships in Beijing.
Minna hails from Somero, a famous pole vaulting hotbed in Finland, but she currently lives and trains in Turku where
she studies for a degree in sports marketing.
